It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Solace in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jo leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Allen Hall and Delphia Marie Gibson; her husband Henry Solace; her daughter Tina Smith; her grandchildren, Vada O'Bryan (Chris) and Tyler Smith (Spring); her great grandchild Penelope Rayne O'Bryan; and her siblings, Barbara Creech (Jimmy), Raymond Hall (Cheryl) and Arthur.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the TBD Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801).
