He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Fred of Jumping Branch and Martha Cox (Farley) of Jumping Branch; his wife Jane Cox (Stroup); and his son William J. Cox. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Lilly (Stephen) of Schwenksville and Carolyn Ott (Dale) of Boyertown, Pennsylvania.; his grandchildren, Andrew Cox, Daniel Cox (Cheyenne), Cassidy Slocum, Rylie Cox, Michael Lilly, Sarah Lilly, Dale Ott Jr., Jesse Ott, Valerie Ott and Ava Ott; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Levi, Jackson, Bailee, Greyson, Hudson and Emmie; and his siblings, Richard Cox of Franklin, Randy Cox of Ellison Ridge, Angela Yoney of Beckley, Thomas Cox of Ohio, Norris Cox and Robert Cox of West Virginia.
