She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie F. Hunter, Sr. and Dora Lilly Hunter; and her siblings, Frances McKinney, Mary Bachelor, Edith Tindilia and Leslie Hunter, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Jack Thomas Lilly; her children, Susan Lilly Gerock (James) of Alexandria, VA and John Thomas Lilly (Cheryl) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Allison, Caleb and Abigail Lilly of Cary, NC.; her friends, Sandy Shrewsbury (Beckley), Carol Schardine (Tallahassee) and Pam Correll (Athens); and her caregivers, Tatiana Charles and Angela Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (1915 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801).
