He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Atwood and Ina Bennett Atwood Keneda; and his siblings, Freddie, David Atwood, Kathy Meadows, Sharon Lewis, Rosalie Newton and Dixie Snuffer.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Scott Atwood; his siblings, Timmy Atwood (Beverly) of Coal City, Peggy Young (Jack) of Carlisle and Donna Cromer of Beckley; his stepbrother Roy Keneda of Georgia; his brother-in-law Johnny Scott (Peggy) of Poqouson; his godson Ryan Belcher; and his children, Brantley and Bristol.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
