He was predeceased by: his parents, William Golden Reeves and Jessie Patton Reeves; his wife Frances Louise Reeves; and his daughter Chessie Reeves. He is survived by: his daughter Elene Flannery of Beckley; his grandchildren, Tia Gillespie of Mount Hope and Steven Flannery (Krystal) of Beckley; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Gillespie, Zayne Harmon and Leia Flannery.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
