It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Anderson (Beckley, West Virginia), born in Clendenin, West Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Arthur Brisendine; and her siblings, Lowell Thomas Brisendine, Ellen Brisendine and Anna Belle Osborne Samples. She is survived by: her parent Orpha Paxton Brisendine; her husband James Anderson of Workman; her brother John (Libby Brisendine) of Missouri; her siblings-in-law, Iris Brisendine of North Carolina, Carl Samples of Clendenin and Beth (Raymond Drake) of Parkersburg; her stepchildren, Grace Marie Moles (Roger) of Workman, Brian Toney and Deron Toney; her close friends, Kathy McGhee and Martha Jarell; and also Creek. She is also survived by 8 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV in memory of Carolyn Anderson.
