She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervine Smith and Connie Smith; and her brother Jimmy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Hayes Dignan; her children, Dennis Murphy, Jr. (LeAnn) of Augusta, SC and Cheryl Murphy of Augusta, SC; her stepchildren, Thomas Dignan (Jen Hee), Wendy Moreland of Morgantown, William Dignan, Jr. and Michelle Steyer of Penhook, VA; and her brother Johnny Smith (Carol) of Charleston, SC.. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
