He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Tessner of War; his grandchildren, Brantley Tessner of War and Rylee Tessner of War; and his siblings, Delilah Crigger of North Carolina, Rebecca Sweeney of Jolo, Debra Lynn Peery of North Carolina, Jessica Rowe of North Carolina and Kenneth Rowe of Bartley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
