It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Ruth Scott (Barrackville, West Virginia), born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Clyde Reed; her husband Robert Scott; her siblings, James Reed and Anna May Negie; and her stepson Jay Alan Scott.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Allgauer Reed; her brother Clyde "Rex" of Barrackville; her sister-in-law Colleen Reed of Barrackville; and her stepdaughters, Kimberly Scott Harris of Mannington, Lee Ann Scott Cimaglea of Fairmont and Josephine Shumaker of LaVale, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
