With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Wane Herdman of Barrackville, West Virginia, born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Herdman and Lillie Bower Herdman. He is survived by: his wife Martha Herdman; his children, Gerald Herdman (Donna) of Fairmont, Donna Toothman (Doug) of Barrackville and Joy Boyer (Nathan) of Kingmont; and his grandchildren, Crystal Hickman (Michael), Jerry Herdman (Jennifer), Dustin Hess (Jenna), Tina Wolfe (Travis), Andrea Bush (Josh), Tommy Larimore (Melissa), Matthew Larimore (Ashley) and Alex Hess. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
