It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Jo Shackelford of Barrackville, West Virginia, born in Mannington, West Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Billy Joe Snider; her husband Greg "Shack" Shackelford; her son Wesley A. Shackelford; and her brothers-in-law, Jeff Schrader, Wayne Griffith, David Shackelford and Ronald Shackelford.
She is survived by: her mother Katherine Snider of Mannington; her children, Amanda Moore of Barrackville and Jeremy Shackelford (Erin) of Morgantown; her sisters, Cathy Schrader of Mannington, Debbie Stevenski (Bobbie) of Fairmont, Vicki Barron (Eddie) of Idamay, Brenda Griffith of Charleston and Heather Straight (Michael) of Fairview; and her grandchildren, Jailynn Straight of Fairview, Madalynn Shackelford of Mount Lookout and Patrick "P. J." Moore, Jr. of Mannington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
