He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chandler Hume, Jr. and Sandra Allen Childers. He is survived by: his girlfriend Pauline Cornell; his children, Sandra Lewis and Michael Gabbard; and his siblings, David Hume (Linda), Jim Childers (Donna), Elizabeth Hume, Deborah Hume and Kim Mullins.
