She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lucas and Ruth Adkins Lucas; her husband William Paul Miessler of Atlanta Georgia; her son Dennis Swift; and her great grandchild Hailey Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Easter Carter of Barboursville, WV and Frank Church Jr. of Caldwell, OH; and her sister Zelma Adkins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
