He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell and Ethel Russell (King); his son Jeffrey Glen Russell; and his siblings, Howard, Michael, Edsel, Ray Russell, Gaynell Adkins, Lorene Stephens and LaDonna May.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fay Russell (Thompson) of Barboursville; his daughter Stacie Hineman (Michael) of Port St; his granddaughters, Brinley Hineman of Brooklyn and Chandler Hanzelko (Tim) of Orlando, Florida; his sisters, Tennie Arrowood (Glen) of Wayne and Bernice Copley of Conroe, Texas.; and his friend Richard Chadwick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made in his honor to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington.
