He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hines Bayless; his son Martin Bayless; his daughter-in-law Heather Tolford of Barboursville; his children, James Vail of Hurricane, WV and Donna Lipscomb of Hurricane; and his granddaughters, Lauren Bayless of Stamford, CT and Larissa Lipscomb of Hurricane.
