He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Howard Spencer, Sr. and Jack D. Daugherty; his uncles, John R. Spencer, Larry A. Daugherty and John D. Daugherty; and his mother-in-law Betty Evans.
He is survived by: his parents, William L. Spencer and Jo Ann Daugherty Spencer of Ballard, WV.; his wife Peggy Cahoon Spencer; his stepsons, Johnathon and Bryan Cahoon; and his brother Jonathan David Spencer. He is also survived by two step grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ballard Christian School (1395 Adair Ridge Rd., Ballard, WV 24918).
