He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Nance and Annie Ruth Carter Nance; and his son Marty Nance. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Monahan Nance; and his sisters, Billie Jo Day of Ballard, WV, Bonnie Huffman of Ballard, WV and Pat Mann of Pearisburg, VA..
