It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas MacArthur Newhouse of Ballard, West Virginia, born in Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grant Newhouse and Mary Davis Newhouse; and his daughter Mary Newhouse. He is survived by: his close friend Mae Saunders of Ballard, WV; his children, Ralph Newhouse (Gail) of Pleasant Hill, OH and Lisa Newhouse of Oak Hill, WV; and his siblings, Lawrence Newhouse of Ballard, WV and Naomi Fulkerson (Jim) of Thompson, OH. He is also survived by his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
