He was predeceased by: his parent Neal Buckland; his wife Loretta; his great grandchild Chandler D. Brown; and his siblings, Theodore Buckland, Clinton Buckland, Lucille Windley and Marie Tuggle.
He is survived by: his parent Barcie Buckland; his sister Mary Ellen Guynn of Narrows, VA; his son Gerald Buckland (Connie Canode) of Boones Mill, VA; his grandchildren, Brett Buckland of Charlotte, NC and Christy Morgan (Todd) of Charlottesville, VA; his great grandchildren, Eli Grimes of Fredericksburg, VA, Owen Grimes of Fredericksburg, VA and Jenny Grimes (Trevor) of Fredericksburg, VA; his daughter Donetta Brown (Ronnie) of Bozoo, WV; his grandson Chad Brown (Aaren); his great grandchildren, Conner Brown of Clemmons, NC, Jacob Brown of Clemmons, NC, Peyton Brown of Clemmons, NC, Rod Brown (Sherry) and Cara of Peterstown, WV; his granddaughter Tiffany Yancey (Boomer); and also Donnie Buckland (Nancy) of North Augusta, SC. He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
