He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Roberts and Rosie Haywood Roberts; and his brothers, Clarence "Porky" Roberts Jr., Franklin Roberts, Kenny Roberts, Glenn Roberts and Tommy Roberts.

He is survived by : his brother Leslie Roberts of Gary, WV; and his close friends, Beverly Steele and Richard "Dicky" Robinette of Avondale, WV.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
