He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus William and Edna Marie Moats (Simmons); his siblings, Bill, Darvin, Keith, Lawrence, Milford, Doyal Moats and Milly Moats; and his nephew Jason Moats Sr..
He is survived by: his brothers, Parker Moats Sr. (Corinna), Freddy Moats and Harry Moats (Marsha); his nieces and nephews, Candy Ritchey, Tommy Ritchey and Parker Moats Jr.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mercedes White, Jason Moats, Jr., Jordan Moats, Tiffany Miller, Justin Moats, Danika Moats and Jasana Moats.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aurora Memorial Building (24079 George Washington Hwy, Aurora, WV 26705). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Aurora Cemetery (526 Aurora Pike, Aurora, WV 26705).
