He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sisler and Gertrude Sisler (Moats); his son Paul Edward Sisler (Reda Jane Sisler); and his siblings, Clifford, Lester, Paul, Alverta and Loretta.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Yvonne "Dot" Martin-Sisler; his grandchildren, Jenna Nicole (Oakland, MD), Jessica, James Sisler (Aurora), Camren Shaffer of Kansas City, MO, Grace Hannah and Jonathon Dalton (Eglon); and his brother Delmar Sisler. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
