He was predeceased by: his parents, Allean P. Smith and Artie M. Gess Smith; and his brother Allean Pershing Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nina "Onile" McCauley Smith; his children, Linda S. Riggleman (Gary) of Augusta, WV and Jerry M. Smith (Jennifer) of Augusta, WV; his grandchildren, Kevin, Calvin Riggleman, Felicia Peacemaker, Logan Smith, Jason, Nathan Staub and Ashley Lake; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, James Smith, Bridger, Benjamin Peacemaker, Reagan, Ryker Riggleman, Pierce, Huxton, Lilly, Branten Staub and Harper Lake.
