Hale; his son Christopher W. Preston (Kelley Phillips) of Cumberland, MD; his stepchildren, Douglas (Debbie), Sean Merson (Anna) and Megan Moyer; his sisters, Debbie J. Wilt (Leo) of Keyser, WV and Brenda L. Reed (Jim) of Springfield, WV; his cousin Kenny Elkins; his grandson Mark; his stepgrandchildren, Jeramiah, Alexia Kubin, Leah Cave and James Merson; his friend Scotty Dawson; and also Neiki of Augusta, WV.
