He is survived by: his wife Hilda Taylor; his children, Richard R. Taylor, Sr. of Augusta, WV and Susan D. Novak of Fort Ashby, WV; and his brothers, William W. Taylor of Eastern Shore, Gary D. Henley of Pasadena, MD and Gilbert L. Henley, Jr..
