With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin G. Jackson of Augusta, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Jackson and A. Novella Gravley Jackson; his son George Thomas Jackson; and his brothers, Henry, Jimmy and Billy Jackson.
He is survived by: his spouse Montia "Carol" Burress Jackson; his daughters, Debbie K. Frey (Ricci) of Saballisville, MD and Jackie Jackson-Hahn (Greg) of Augusta, WV; his sisters, Mamie Gibson (Fuzzy) of Tennessee, Mary Dotson of Tennessee and Noni Kitts of Kentucky; his grandchildren, TJ (Alex), Anthony (Stephanie), Shane (Faith), Zachary and Tia (Justin); his great grandchildren, Angelica, Jacob, Marshall, Calvin, Hope, Everett, Aiden, Alex and Greyson; and his niece Crystal (Cissi).
