He is survived by: his wife Joan Smith Shipley; his son Lee E. Shipley of Augusta, WV; his sisters, Lorraine Osbourne of Baltimore, MD and Helen Garland of Capon Bridge, WV; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Chelsea, Vanessa, Jamie, Amber and Jessica.
