She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph B. Hott, Sr. and Veiva P. Hott; her husband Ray Franklin Oates, Jr.; her daughter Leah R. Chapman; and her sisters, Karen French and Kimberly Hott.
She is survived by: her son Travus R. Oates (Kara) of Fairmont, WV; her siblings, Gail Hott of Springfield, WV, Debra Hensler of Romney, WV, Janet Orndorff of Augusta, WV and Ralph Hott, Jr. of Aliquippa, PA; her grandchildren, Garrett R. Oates, Tatum R. Oates, Kylie R. Bushko, Lydia V. Pierce (Sawyer), Nadylea R. Chapman and Rayelyn J. Chapman; her great grandchild Leighton Pierce; and her son-in-law Greg Chapman.
