It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ward Sr. (Augusta, West Virginia), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Ward and Ann McGowan Ward; his wife Linda Louise Ward; and his daughter Tammy L. Kerns. He is survived by: his sons, John Ward, Jr. (Rebecca) of Augusta and Jeffrey G. Ward (Cheri) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Alyssa M. Ward, Logan P. Kerns, Nicholas T. Ward (Laurie) and Ashley N. Ward; his great grandchildren, Jackson F. Kerns, Alice May and Ashton May; his siblings, Della Blackstone of Hedgesville, WV, Bernard Ward of Clarke Co, VA and James Ward of Annapolis, MD.; and his friend Vicky Carter.
