He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Carr, Sr. and Virginia Elizabeth Gary Carr; and his siblings, Edward L. Carr, Jr., Donald F. Carr, Gerald J. Carr and Carolyn V. Carr.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Willson Carr; his children, Victoria Ann Carr of Augusta, WV and Gary Thomas Carr, Jr. of Augusta, WV; his grandchildren, Austin Nils Eriksson, Britton Wade Eriksson and Felicity Elizabeth Eriksson; and his great grandchildren, Austin Nils Eriksson, Jr. and Anastasia Noel Eriksson.
