He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Shingleton and Nellie Shingleton (Combs); his son Shayne Shingleton; his brother Eldon Shingleton; and his grandson Terry Kasmier.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Shingleton (Davis); his son Michael Shingleton (Pam) of Augusta; his siblings, Donnis Klein (David) of Mt. Airy, MD and Edwin Shingleton (Marilyn) of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Tyra Clark (David), Jesse Shingleton (Stephanie), Emily Hepfer (Justin), Dylan Shingleton, Kutter Shingleton, Heather Ludwick (Cameron), Nathan Bohrer (Danielle) and Kyle Bohrer (Brandi); and his great grandchildren, Brady, Isabella Rinker, Harper, Cooper Clark, Saydie Clark, Mason, James Haslacker, Annabelle Kasmier, Wesson, Wyatt, Raylynn Bohrer, Lylah Bohrer and Cayne Shingleton.
