He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd D. Combs and Cora Belle Hott Combs; his wife Juanita H. Kessel Combs; his daughter Cheryl Lucas; his siblings, Clarence Ray Combs and Ellen L. Smith; and his granddaughters, Beth Combs and Alexia Fout.
He is survived by: his son Den Combs of Kirby; his brothers, Don Combs of Augusta and Richard Combs of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Stacey Jodi (Don), Jeremy, Den III, Hannah and Sarah.
