He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Swisher and Bess Oates Swisher; his wife Karen Darleen Wolfe; and his siblings, Howard, Grayson, Everett, Rolin Swisher, Isabella Gladden, Dorothy Stine, Winona Tusing and Wanda Wolfe.
He is survived by: his children, Margo Mitchell of Crofton, MD and Doug Swisher of Augusta, WV. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, and 3 great-grandchildren.
