It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Heavner of Augusta, West Virginia, born in Slanesville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Heavner and Opal K. Heavner (Grapes); his wife Jennifer Marlene Kidwell; and his brothers, Ralph O. Heavner, Linden E. Heavner and Roger Glenn Heavner.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey N. Heavner of Augusta, WV and Ashley Heavner of Augusta, WV; his grandson Tavon Heavner; and his brother Robert D. Heavner of Pikeside, WV.
