It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Martin Jennings of Athens, West Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlton "Top" Martin and Myrtle Alvis Martin; her husband Billy Hugh Jennings; her children, Darla Jennings and Billy B. Jennings; and her siblings, William Martin, Frank Martin and Gerry Clyburn.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Jennings (Lisa) of Athens and Prema Stilwell of Lerona; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Stilwell (Elisha), Terra Hammond (Heath), Hannah Albert (Spencer), Roland Tucker (Rebecca), Mark Jennings (Mallory) and Andrew Jennings; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Jeremiah, Morgan and Elijah; her great great grandchild Gwenyth "Gee"; her sister Bertha Wiley of Salem, VA; and her close friend Tonya Vereen.
