She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Lindsay and Jacqueline Fisher Lindsay; her husband Thurmond McCoy; her sister Wilma Smith of Athens, WV; her niece Shelley Burton (Brian); her great-nephew Brandon of Raeford, NC; her sister-in-law Ada Meadows; her niece Peggy Cates; her nephew Charles Meadows, Jr. of Channelview, TX; and her close friends, Cheryl McKenzie, Mark Shrewsbury and Michael Pagliaro. She was also cherished by pets, her dog "Baby" and birds.
