He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Spurlock and Maude Massie Spurlock; and his brothers, Fred and Darrell Spurlock. He is survived by: his children, Max Spurlock Jr. (Deborah) of Ashton, WV, Matthew Spurlock (Gene) of Huntington, WV and Betsy Arthur (Scott) of Wayne, WV; his grandchildren, Ryan Rowsey (Angela) of Barboursville, WV and Derek Spurlock (Jessica) of Scott Depot, WV; his great grandchildren, Haven, Gaige, Isabella Rowsey, Madison, Olivia and Elijah Spurlock; his siblings, Violet Stephens (Louie), Shirley Ball and Larry Spurlock (Glenda); and also Steven Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
