He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Adkins and Amanda Adkins; his sister Esther Tomblin; and his sister-in-law Opal Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Adkins; his siblings, Odessa Workman (Rayburn) of Harts, WV, Bobby Adkins (Cubie) of Ellsworth, OH and Garland Adkins of Medina, OH; his granddaughter Kacy Duffer (Duane) of Fraziers Bottom, WV; and his great grandchildren, Elijah "Malik" Butler of Apple Grove, Cassidy Duffer of Huntington, WV and Dakota "Joe" Duffer of Fraziers Bottom.
