He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Edgar McCarty and Lulu Estella Bailey McCarty; his wife Patricia McCarty; and his brothers, Virgil, Ralph, Roy, Clinton and Mike McCarty.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Cain, Robert Cain, Lee Cain, Daniel Cain and Christopher Cain; his brothers, Mason McCarty, Lee McCarty and Howard McCarty; his grandchildren, Christina Given, Savanna Keesee, Daniel Cain, Lynn Rice, Marvin Cain, Jessica Cain, Tabitha Scott, Darlene Benoit and Willis Cain; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Hannah, Christopher, Maddelyn, Haley, Skylar, Landon, Adam, Aiden, Adalynn, Antwon and Crysta.
