He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Ferrell Berdine; and his brother William Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Brannon Berdine; his sons, Kenneth Bruce Berdine (Jessie K. Holmes) and Michael Ashton Berdine (Debby); his grandchildren, Jessie Lynn Berdine, Addison Willow Berdine and Eleanore Wren Berdine; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Brannon Davis, Gail Hayhurst and Susie Brannon.
