He was predeceased by: his parents, E. G. McKown and Jettie Hoskins McKown; and his siblings, Jean Stalnaker and Richard McKown. He is survived by: his sister Irene Hildreth; and his children, Kim Poling (Gary), Kyle McKown (Maria), Phillip McKown and John McKown (Rebecca). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
