It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Watterson (Apple Grove, West Virginia), born in Mason, West Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oather Meadows and Martha Meadows; her husband George Watterson; and her siblings, Mary Slayton, Evelyn Casey, Emma Casey, Harold Meadows, Chester Meadows and Oatho Meadows.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Watterson (Wanda) of Apple Grove, W. V, Jerald Watterson (Suann) of Apple Grove, W. V, Adam Watterson (Beth) of Lancaster and Georgeann Watterson of Pine Ridge; her sisters, Ester Casey of Apple Grove and Betty Perry of Naples; her grandchildren, Brittany Ware, Brad Watterson, Kayla Watterson, Jenna Watterson, Cody Spencer, Shannon Spencer (Dawn), Isabella Watterson, Jessica Riffle, Kimberly Williams, Shawna Powell and Brittney Lane; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Brayden, Tristen and Brook. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
