He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith Cole; his daughters, Bonnie Norvell (Paul) of Fayetteville, Shari Watson (Danny) of Maple Fork and Holly Powell (Carlton) of Chester, Virginia; his brother Keith Cole (Norma) of Ansted; and his grandchildren, Michael Clackler, Jerry Clackler, Michael Pack, Josh Watson, Rebekah Watson, Gordon Gates, II, Nicholas Gates, Jonathan Fultz, Laura Orphin, Carlton Powell, Jr. and Calvin Powell. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
