He was predeceased by: his parents, Magee Willoughby Cole and Mary Jane Withrow Cole; and his brother Larry Cole. He is survived by: his wife Jane Sweet Cole; his children, Bina Vaught (J. D.), Parthenia Holly (Ryan) and Kerr David Cole, Jr.; his sisters, Catherine Teubert and Bina Fyock (Jeff); and his sister-in-law Mary Higgins Cole. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
