He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Glen Nance and Grace Davis Nance; his son Homer Nance; and his siblings, Howard, Earl, Ken, Madeline and Joann.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Sizemore (Dwight) and David Nance; and his siblings, Louise, Betty, Mary, Patricia, Kathy, Billy Joe, Rex and Walter.
