With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Jean Sloan of Amma, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Taylor; her stepfather Bill Taylor; and her grandparents, Harold Haid and Imogene Haid. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Sodaro Taylor; her husband Robert "Bob" Sloan; her sisters, Kim Sodaro and Susie Sodaro Monday; her stepchildren, Robert "Rob" Sloan (Anika Sloan) and Carrie Sloan-Meyer (Tim Meyer); and her grandchildren, Kahlan Eggert, Lorelei Sloan and Kemp Meyer. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as close family friends.
