Sharon Faye Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Faye Thompson of Amherstdale, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loran Wilson and Sarah Wilson; her husband Charles Thompson Sr.; her stepson Charles Thompson Jr.; and her siblings, Clara Mae Browning, Berta Adkins, Margaret Lou Wilson and Orville "Bud" Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Alice (Doug Hensley), Melissa (Pete Farley), Jason (Emily Evans) and Thomas Thompson of Huntington; her brother L. C. Wilson of Lawton, OK; her grandchildren, Sean Hensley (Jordan), Brianna Browning (Roger "Bit"), Anna Beach and Sophia Beach; and her caregiver Beatrice "B. B." Walker. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Becco United Baptist Church (397 Evening Shade Ln, Amherstdale, WV 25607). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
