It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Douglas Copley Jr. of Amherstdale, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Henry, Irene Sugg, Emmitt and Edith Copley; his grandfather-in-law Christine Brumfield; and his friends, Glenna Gail Cresong and Mike Adkins.
He is survived by: his parents, Lutisha Mayo Copley (Sugg) of Amherstdale and Jerry Douglas Copley, Sr. of Ripley; his cousins, Charley Brown Sugg and Blaine Sugg, Jr.; his wife Amie Lynn Copley (Brumfield); his daughter Skylar Copley (Chris Carroll) of Crites; his sister Tammy Copley Brock of Amherstdale; his pet Valerie; his nephews, Jackie Brock III (Christi) of Accoville and Michael Brock (Stephanie Prince) of Amherstdale; his great-niece Jaycee Brock of Accoville; his uncles, Jasper Sugg and Charles Sugg; his nieces, Brianna Brumfield, Chelsea Brumfield and Paisley Brumfield; his nephew Xavier Meade; and also Debbie Evans of Ripley.
