It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Ross of Amherstdale, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Marcum and Louise Marcum; and her siblings, Alice Faye Marcum, Cleo McDonald, Ronnie Dale Marcum, Donald Ray Marcum, Gary Marcum and Travis Shane Marcum.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky Darrell Ross Sr. of Amherstdale; her children, Shavon Abbott (Jason) of Monaville, Shanda Riggs (Wesley) of Camden, SC and Ricky Ross Jr. (Sabana) of Omar; her grandchildren, Jaycee Marie Abbott, Shania Paige Kennedy, Ashton Jason Abbott, Taylor Brooke Kennedy, Jayden Lee Kennedy, Ryleigh Jo Ross, Preston Alan Riggs, Raelynn Sage Ross and Rogan Axel Ross; her brother Danny Marcum (Casandra) of Logan; her sister-in-law Linda Kay Marcum; and her close friend Hattie Harris of Alabama.
