It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Hanshaw (Alum Creek, West Virginia), who passed away on May 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Riffe and Bertha Riffe; her son Jerry Hanshaw; her grandsons, Rusty Hanshaw and Jimmy Hanshaw; and her sister Lola Fields.

She is survived by: her son Dave Hanshaw (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Ann Hanshaw; her grandsons, Rick Hanshaw (Opal), Michael Hanshaw (Lori), David Hanshaw and Jeff Hanshaw; and her siblings, Buck Riffe, Edith Parsons and Wanda Williams. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

“II worked for Pauline at Sears in the camera and photo department in 1969 or 1970, not sure of the year. What a nice lady, who always treated me with respect. I was only 20 at the time and she was a shining bright star for me while attending my final years of college. I can picture her smile as I write this. Thanks Pauline. Michael Fischetti”
